Amplify Board Adds New Advisory Directors

Ashley Perryman and Helynn Nelson join the Amplify Board of Directors as advisory directors.

AUSTIN, Texas – Amplify Credit Union continues its commitment to its award-winning culture by adding two human resources professionals to its Board of Directors in advisory capacities. Ashley Perryman and Helynn Nelson will join the Board as advisory directors, offering key perspectives as Amplify continues to expand its nationwide workforce.

“We could not be more excited to add Ashley Perryman and Helynn Nelson to the Board of Directors in their new advisory roles,” Kendel Martin, board chair at Amplify, said. “These are leaders with decades of talent management experience who know what it takes to grow and sustain an organization like this.”

While some financial service providers emphasize back-to-office initiatives, Amplify remains committed to its remote workforce, developing new programs to expand its Culture of Welcome to include team members from across the country. Kendall Garrison, chief executive officer at Amplify, believes that the new advisory directors will position the credit union to continue that growth.

“Perryman and Nelson have helped shape culture for some of the most impressive organizations in the country,” Garrison added. “More than that, they’ve also shaped the next generation of leaders in their role as educators and mentors. Perryman currently serves as the SVP of Global Human Resources for Ziff Davis, a leading digital media company whose portfolio includes publications like CNET and Mashable. Nelson is the Senior Manager, People Consultant for Google and an adjunct professor at the Thomas Jefferson University School of Business and the Villanova University human resources program.

In their capacity as advisory directors, Perryman and Nelson will assist the Board of Directors and Amplify leadership in the credit union’s strategic decision-making.
