Amplify Credit Union receives certification from Bank On for safe and affordable fee-free banking

Amplify Credit Union is known across Central Texas for its groundbreaking banking products, and now, Amplify has earned a national certification from the Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund for meeting the Bank On National Account Standards for 2023-2024. The national account standards, co-created by consumer advocates, recognize accounts that ensure low cost, high functionality, and consumer safety— and features that at Amplify, we provide to all of our members.

Amplify’s fee-free checking account includes no monthly cost, no overdraft or insufficient fund fees, the ability to easily pay bills and make purchases, and federal deposit insurance. We offer this product to everyone digitally and also in each of Amplify‘s branches across Central Texas.

The goal of Bank On is to ensure that everyone has access to safe and affordable financial products and services. The Bank On National Account Standards, led by the CFE Fund, identifies critical product features for bank or credit union accounts and supports 100 local coalitions working to connect individuals and families to financial services through partnerships between governments, financial institutions, and community organizations.
