What Our Employees Are Saying…

Hear what our employees have to say about working on the Amplify team.

I don’t like working at Amplify, I LOVE working at Amplify! My team makes me feel like family, and I feel that I am always very well taken care of here. I absolutely adore our members and interacting with them on a daily basis is the best part of my job! Building rapport, and getting to know my members, is such a great and rewarding feeling… to know that I have impacted them in a way that other banks have not. This job doesn’t really feel like work, it’s an amazing atmosphere! Amplify is all about having that work-life balance, and this is really important to me. I love that we get out in the community to help out and get involved as well! Working for a company who truly values you is hard to find today, but I am very thankful to say that I have found that and so much more working at Amplify!

I've been a part of many teams over the course of my career, but the best teams I've been on have all been at Amplify. I've had the opportunity to work in both back office and retail positions, and they have all been great. The leadership at Amplify does such a good job of creating collaborative, team-driven environments, and they really empower their employees with what they need to be successful. Working here, I really feel like what I do contributes to the good of the community and the members we serve, along with the success of my team and company as a whole.

I have been happily employed at Amplify for 18 years. Why have I stayed this long? The credit union has allowed me to grow within my own position but to also grow in other areas of the credit union such as Lending, Marketing, Community Impact and Media Relations.

My favorite part of the credit union is the transparency. Our management keeps team members up to date on major changes and the financials. I know I can ask any executive a question and I will receive an answer with honesty and an explanation of where decisions came from and how the decisions impact the future of the credit union.

I was hired by Amplify in July 2018 and this has been the most rewarding job I have ever had. From the moment I was hired Amplify has been welcoming and caring to me and has shown me how important I am to them. I have worked for some of the biggest banks around but working for Amplify has given me the ability to provide the highest level of customer service possible because Amplify values what each of us brings to the office and applauds us for our individuality and strengths.

What To Expect From Our Hiring Process

Amplify is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We welcome diversity in our organization and are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetics, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.

  1. Woman typing on computer.

    Application

We request that you complete an application that reflects all of the jobs you have held in the last seven years in order to be considered for one of our posted positions. If your resume does not reflect ALL of the jobs you have had in the last seven years (whether they are relevant to the position for which you are applying or not), then be sure to add any missing jobs to the employment history section of the application. To update an existing application, click the UPDATE APPLICATION button under "Additional Links" at the bottom of this page.

  2. Initial Screening

Every application is important to us because the person it represents may be the perfect person for the job and our organization. We take the time to review every application in full. Because of the number of applications we receive for each position, we are not able to contact every applicant. Applicants who appear to meet the minimum requirements for the job will be contacted. You can check the status of your application(s) by logging into the Career Center and then clicking on Resume Submission History. If you are not selected to continue, we will contact you by email to let you know.

  3. Shaking hands

    First Interview

If you are selected to participate in the interview process, your first interview will typically be an in-person meeting or a phone interview with a member of Human Resources. This initial conversation gives us an opportunity to learn more about you, while giving you a chance to learn more about the role and Amplify.

  4. Pointing at computer screen

    Assessments

Certain jobs may involve an assessment or a "piece of the job" exercise. These may be used at any point in the selection process. In some cases you may be asked to complete an assessment as part of the application process; in others, you may be asked to complete this step following one or more interviews.

  5. Second Interview

If the hiring manager feels you are a strong candidate after reviewing your application and screening interview notes, then a member of Human Resources will call you to schedule your second interview. Your second interview may be with the hiring manager alone, or you may be speaking with multiple people in a panel format. Your Human Resources representative will provide that information in a confirmation email, which will also include the date, time, and location of your interview.

  6. Woman on the phone

    Reference Check

We conduct our reference checks using an online survey that is administered by Checkster. We require at least three professional references, at least two of which should be people who currently manage you or have managed you in the past. Do not use friends or family members as references.

  7. Shaking hands

    Offer

Once the interviews, assessments (if applicable) and reference checks are completed, the hiring manager will decide which candidate he/she would like to invite to join Amplify. If you are selected, you will be contacted by a member of Human Resources, who will extend the offer to you verbally and then forward the formal offer to you via email.

  8. Background Check

When we send your offer of employment, we will also request your authorization to check your ability to be bonded under the credit union's insurance policy and to run a background check, which includes verification of past/current employment, as well as checking criminal and civil records. Most positions also require a credit check. Less-than-perfect credit does not automatically bar you from employment, but you should be prepared to discuss what led to the issues an what you are doing to correct them. Depending on the role, we may require other types of background checks in addition to those mentioned.

  9. Amplify employees

    New Employee Orientation (NEO)

If you accept our offer of employment and complete the background check process with satisfactory results, you will be welcomed onto the Amplify team during New Employee Orientation. The entire first day focuses on our company history and the Amplify culture.
