Five years ago, I made the decision to switch to real estate as my full-time career. When I looked at the changing landscape here in Texas, I realized that I wanted to spend the rest of my career helping families achieve the American dream of owning their own homes. Since then, I’m proud to be named a trusted resource for a new generation of Texas homeowners.
In the years before I became a full-time lender, I worked as a licensed real estate agent in College Station. Collaborating with homebuyers and mortgage companies taught me that a trusted loan officer can make or break any homebuying experience. Soon, I decided to switch my focus, embarking on a career in mortgage lending and working with first-time homebuyers on their lending needs.
Because of my well-rounded experience in real estate, I truly believe the most important thing a loan officer can do is focus on the needs of their clients, not the size of their loan. With home prices exploding in Texas over the past few years, I sometimes hear first-time homebuyers worry that their service will suffer in favor of bigger purchases. Part of what I love about working at Amplify is our commitment to world-class service no matter how much money you have in your budget.
When not building relationships with prospective homebuyers, I focus on my other important job: being a full-time mom to my two boys. I enjoy nurturing their love of baseball and spending our weekends as a happy, active family in the Greater Austin community.
