Amplify Credit Union Grows Wholesale Lending Channel with Returning Team Member

Julie Davis will support the credit union’s growing wholesale channel as a third-party lending account executive

AUSTIN, Texas – Today, Amplify Credit Union announced the return of Julie Davis to their real estate lending team. Davis, who had previously worked at Amplify as a residential mortgage loan officer, will now serve as a third-party lending account executive for the credit union’s wholesale lending department.

“We’re so excited to welcome Julie back to the credit union,” Yazmin Palacios, Amplify’s VP of Real Estate Operations, said. “Julie’s work as a residential loan officer gives her a strong understanding of what lending solutions really resonate with consumers. This, in turn, allows her to better anticipate the needs of our wholesale partners and help them offer a best-in-class experience to their customers.”

In her new role, Davis will work alongside Sr. Account Executive Bob Almand to provide the credit union’s broker partners with a wide range of lending solutions. These include home equity loans, purchase money seconds, and jumbo mortgages, as well as Amplify’s new professional mortgage program build for healthcare, legal, and financial professionals.

Since relaunching its wholesale lending channel in 2025, Amplify has added over 30 new wholesale broker relationships across the state of Texas. Palacios and her team hope to add another 70+ to the credit union by the end of the year. “We have the opportunity to be a force multiplier in 2026 and beyond,” Palacios said. “We look forward to working with our partners to open the doors of homeownership to more Texas families.”

In addition to her previous experience with Amplify, Davis has also served as a loan officer or sales consultant for organizations like Parkstone Mortgage and New American Funding. She is also a member of the Young Men’s Service League program, through which she has volunteered with organizations such as the Round Rock Servicing Center and the Special Olympics.
