Amplify Credit Union Named 2026 Nancy Rabb Legacy Award Winner
Amplify is recognized for its charitable giving with one of Central Texas’s most prestigious awards
AUSTIN, Texas – Today, the Central Texas Community Foundation announced that Amplify Credit Union was the winner of the 2026 Nancy Rabb Legacy Award, given to a Central Texas organization in recognition of its charitable giving and work in the community. Amplify was one of five organizations nominated for the award, including Atmos Energy, the Halff Community Initiative, JHL Company, and Texas Mutual Insurance.
“At Amplify, our goal is to be judged based on how we show up for our neighbors,” Angela Shaw, Amplify Credit Union’s Senior Vice President of Talent, said. “What matters most is that this recognition came directly from our community. Being voted for by other Central Texas businesses and nonprofits is proof that we are working to make a difference.”
Amplify serves as a force multiplier for Central Texas organizations through its investment in knowledge. At the heart of this is the credit union’s community banking program, led by a team of certified financial counselors who help equip nonprofit leaders with practical, accessible tools to build sustainable organizations and stronger futures. This commitment to financial empowerment has helped nonprofits move beyond meeting today’s needs and towards long-term stability and growth.
In addition to its educational efforts, Amplify also supports Central Texas through the skills of its employees. One of the highlights of Amplify Credit Union’s social impact efforts is Community Care Hours program, which provides team members with up to 40 hours of paid volunteer time and stipends for nonprofit board membership and sustained volunteer activities. In 2025, Amplify recorded a record 2,588 volunteer hours, with many employees choosing to donate their time to the local organizations that matter most to them.
“We’ve set a high bar for ourselves, but our goal is to have an organization where everyone makes time to volunteer,” Shaw said. “The Nancy Rabb Legacy Award is proof that we’re headed in the right direction and showing no signs of slowing down.”
