Amplify Credit Union Names New Senior Vice President of Innovation
Chrissy Ranft joins Amplify’s executive team with a focus on system and operational excellence
AUSTIN, Texas – Today, Amplify Credit Union announced the promotion of Chrissy Ranft to senior vice president of innovation. This promotion reflects the success Ranft has had in bringing new systems online at the credit union and ensures that Amplify has the leadership needed to usher in a new era of systems and operational excellence.
“Chrissy Ranft has been the driving force behind so many successful implementations here at Amplify,” Kendall Garrison, Amplify’s Chief Executive Officer, said. “Her forward-looking approach to both business operations and member services is a big reason why the credit union continues to punch above its weight class when it comes to serving our community.”
In her previous role as Vice President of Project Management, Ranft oversaw several key initiatives at the credit union. “Chrissy has been instrumental in modernizing our member communications channels,” Garrison said. “From data analytics tools to AI-backed support platforms, she ensures that the messages we send to our members are both timely and relevant, and that members have greater control over how they engage with Amplify.”
In 2027, Ranft will also head the construction of Amplify’s Tech Ridge branch – the credit union’s first new branch in almost 20 years. This new location was chosen after months of research and will help Amplify remain a key banking partner for businesses and families in an emerging corridor of Central Texas. “Not many people in Amplify’s history can say that they helped bring a new branch location to life,” Ranft said. “I’m excited for our new Tech Ridge neighbors to see firsthand the difference our fee-free banking services can have.”
Ranft originally joined Amplify in 1996, serving in multiple project management roles over the past 30 years. Outside of her work with the credit union, Ranft also volunteers regularly with Saint Louise House, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting women and their families as they move from homelessness to independence.
