Nominations Open

Nominations are currently open for the Amplify Credit Union board of directors. Nominations must be made by petition and signed by 1% of members (min: 20, maximum: 500).

2026 Nominations

The membership will vote on candidates for three open positions on the Board of Directors, for which the Nominating Committee has recommended the re-election of Board Chair Kendel Martin and Director Veronica Stidvent, as well as the election of David Troutman to Director (previously Advisory Director). The election will not be conducted by ballot, and there will be no nominations from the floor when the number of nominees equals the number of positions to be filled.

Kendel Martin joined Luminex Corporation in December 2007 and served as Vice President, Accounting until the purchase of Luminex in 2021. Since the acquisition of Luminex, Kendel has been providing technical accounting and SEC Reporting consulting services to a variety of public companies. Prior to joining Luminex Corporation, Kendel held management roles at Freescale Semiconductor, Cirrus Logic, and Ernst & Young LLP.

Kendel holds a B.A. in Economics from Rhodes College and is a Texas Certified Public Accountant. In addition to serving on the Communities in Schools of Central Texas board and as their Chair of the Finance Committee, Kendel serves on the Finance Committee of Impact Austin.

Veronica “Ronnye” Stidvent is the Executive Director of the Center for Women in Law at The University of Texas at Austin and the President of Stidvent Partners, a consulting firm focused on public policy, business initiatives, and philanthropic efforts. Previously, she was the Chancellor of Western Governors University. She also served as Head of Education and Training at Dimensional Fund Advisors, as a lecturer and director of Subiendo Academy at The University of Texas McCombs School of Business, and as the inaugural director of the Center for Politics and Governance at Texas’s LBJ School of Public Affairs.

Ms. Stidvent serves on the Board of Trustees for Southwestern University. She also has served as a member of the Governor’s Advisory Council on Cultural Affairs and as a commissioner of the Texas Commission on Human Rights.

David Troutman, Ph.D., has spent the past two decades driving institutional change at some of the state’s biggest educational bodies. As the Deputy Commissioner of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), and as the founder of the Postsecondary Employment Outcomes (PSEO) Coalition, Troutman has spearheaded strategic initiatives that have transformed educational policy within the state of Texas.

Troutman also serves in leadership roles supporting organizations that drive education and postsecondary employment outcomes. This includes his position on the Board of Directors for the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center, and his work with ACE Carnegie Classifications Revisions, where he serves as a Technical Review Panelist.
