My career in the mortgage industry began in 1984, when I traveled around the country reviewing and underwriting loans for the bond desk of my community bank. In the years that followed, I was drawn to the complex underwriting of the wholesale lending industry. Eventually, I found my calling helping other loan officers find the best ways to structure their loans.
My responsibility to my wholesale clients is to make sure they understand how our system works and set the proper expectations for timelines and file flow. I am their constant resource from submission through closing, so they never have to worry who to contact if they have issues or questions. If a loan makes sense to me, I will do everything I can within current standards to advocate for it.
When away from work I am happiest spending time with my family, reading, and puttering around the house. I love HGTV, cooking channels and just about anything British. I am so excited to be part of the Amplify team and look forward to sharing our brand with the Houston market.
