If I’ve learned anything in my 40+ years in the mortgage industry, it’s that no two days are ever alike. Each new lending opportunity comes with an unusual guideline or an uncommon requirement; it is only thanks to my decades of hands-on experience that I am able to find the right loan for every borrower and every situation.
Communication is key. While I may pride myself on my knowledge of loan guidelines, it’s just as important to me that I can clearly communicate the different offerings to my borrowers and listen attentively to the questions they ask. This has allowed me to gain the trust of countless borrowers and turn them into lifelong clients. My career has also afforded me opportunities to represent the mortgage industry on Capitol Hill and work with national organizations to help create a better experience for borrowers and their families.
In my free time, you can probably find me spending time with my grandchildren or volunteering my services to First Tee, a youth development organization that works to build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. I also pride myself on being handy; if you need something built or repaired, I’m your man.
