When you spend your entire career in banking, you learn how to navigate even the most complicated process. And as someone with over 25 years of experience in mortgage and commercial lending, I’ve found there are very few processes I cannot untangle for my industry partners.
A big piece of this is my responsiveness. In an industry where timing can be everything, I always set aside time to answer my phone or call my partners back as soon as possible. The more responsive I am – and the more I can streamline the lending process for my partners – the more I can help them grow their relationship with their clients. This is the basis of successful, long-term relationships.
When not working or spending time with my family, I can often be found at the golf course. As a recovering musician - who has played trumpet in more college, community, and church bands than I care to remember - I’ve found that I am much more at peace holding iron instead of brass. The persistence and patience I practice at the course is the perfect complement to my everyday work.
