How It Works

    To enter, all you have to do is use your card! The more you use your Mastercard® debit card, the more opportunities you have to win.

  2. Pick Up the Phone

    If you are selected as a winner, a member of the Amplify Credit Union marketing team will reach out to notify you that you've won. You'll have 30 days to claim your prize, or another member will be contacted.

  3. Spend Your Money

    If you are selected as one of our daily $500 winners, you will receive a Mastercard® gift card to spend as you please. Spend it on essentials or treat yourself to something nice, the choice is up to you.

Amplify $500 a Day Giveaway Rules (“Rules”)

1. NO PURCHASE, PAYMENT, OR OBLIGATION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

2. ELIGIBILITY: The Amplify $500 a Day Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is open only to members in good standing of Amplify Credit Union (“Sponsor”), or legal residents eligible for Sponsor membership, 18 years of age or older as of January 01, 2021. Void where prohibited. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.  Amplify Credit Union employees, members of the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, and Nominating Committee are not eligible to enter the drawing regardless of membership status.

3. PROMOTION TIMING / DESCRIPTION: The promotion begins at 12:00 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) on January 1, 2021, and ends at 11:59 p.m., CT, on January 31, 2021 (“Promotional Period”).

4. TO ENTER: To enter the Giveaway, Members must use their Amplify Credit Union debit cards (“Debit Cards”) to make purchases. Each Member gets one entry each time the Member uses his/ her Debit Card throughout the day, with no limit on the number of entries. ATM transactions are not eligible for entry. All Debit Card purchases which post to a Member’s account by 11:59 p.m. the day prior to the drawing are eligible entries.

Alternatively, entrants may send a 3” x 5” card with their name, phone number, email address, and home address to: Amplify Credit Union, PO Box 85300, Austin, TX 78708. Alternative entries are limited to one entry per day. Entry forms cannot be mechanically reproduced. All entries must be received prior to the end of the Promotional Period. Incomplete entries, late entries, or entries not complying with these Rules are subject to disqualification at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.

Members are limited to one prize of $500 per Debit Card number. In other words, once you win a $500 prize, the Debit Card used to win will no longer be eligible for entries in the Giveaway. Additionally, only one winner per address will be allowed. The address used is the primary address on file for the member account to which the debit card is tied.

5. ODDS: Estimated odds of winning a prize depend upon the total number of eligible entries received each day during the Promotional Period.

6. PRIZE DESCRIPTIONS: Sponsor will award a prize of one (1) $500 gift card per weekday (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) during the Promotional Period.

All applicable taxes and fees are the sole responsibility of the prize winners. Prize winners may be required to provide their taxpayer identification number to Sponsor, which may be reported to the Internal Revenue Service.

7. DETERMINATION OF WINNERS: Potential winners for each prize listed above will be selected in a daily random drawing each weekday beginning January 04, 2021, and ending February 1, 2021, from among all eligible entries received on the previous weekday (with the exception of entries received on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays which will count toward Monday’s drawing). Each winner will be notified by overnight or U.S. Mail, telephone, and/or email on the day of the drawing. All decisions are in the sole and absolute discretion of Sponsor. Prize is non-transferable, non-assignable and may not be substituted. Prize must be claimed within 30 days of notification, or an alternate winner will be chosen.

8. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: EACH ENTRANT AND THEIR HEIRS, PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES, AND NEXT OF KIN RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND AGREE TO HOLD HARMLESS AMPLIFY CREDIT UNION AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS, AS WELL AS THE OWNERS AND LESSORS AND LESSEES OF ANY PREMISES IN WHICH GIVEAWAY ACTIVITIES ARE HELD (COLLECTIVELY, “RELEASED PARTIES”), FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LOSSES, LIABILITIES AND DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO ANY LOSS, INJURY, OR DAMAGES, WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES OR OTHERWISE, THAT MAY BE CAUSED OR CLAIMED TO BE CAUSED AS A RESULT OF PARTICIPATION IN THE GIVEAWAY OR THE RECEIPT OF A PRIZE.

9. GENERAL: By entering and participating in the Giveaway, each entrant grants Sponsor the right to use his/her name and image for promotional purposes related to the Amplify $500 a Day Giveaway. Entrants may be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and a publicity release. Entrants will not be compensated or reimbursed for video production, credit union publicity, or public appearances. All entrants accept and agree to be bound by these Rules. Any violation or non-compliance with these Rules will result in disqualification.

10. WINNERS LIST: For a request by mail, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Winners, Attn: Marketing, Amplify Credit Union, P.O. Box 85300, Austin, TX 78708.

11. SPONSOR: The Sponsor of this Giveaway is Amplify Credit Union, 3600 W. Parmer Lane, Austin, TX 78727 and is governed by Texas law. Void where prohibited by law.
