|2017 Annual Election & Meeting of Members Notification
The 2017 Members Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017 in the community room of our newest branch at 2800 Esperanza Crossing, Bldg. 2, Austin, TX 78758*.
The Nominating Committee has recommended the nominees listed below, who are running unopposed, to fill the three open positions on the Amplify Board of Directors.
The election will not be conducted by ballot and there will be no nominations from the floor when the number of nominees equals, or exceeds the number of positions to be filled.
No questions from the floor will be taken during the meeting. Nominees: Amplify Board of Directors
||SAM ROBERTSON is an incumbent Director, who began serving Amplify on the Supervisory Committee in 2001 and was quickly recruited to
the Board of Directors in 2002 where he has been serving ever since. Additionally, he is a member of the Board Loan, Board Facilities, and the Board Technology Committees.
Sam worked for IBM Corporation, involved in hardware verification tools development and support, until his retirement in 2009. Upon retirement, he and his wife created their
own consulting company. Sam is active on the boards of other non-profit organizations and church groups.
||RON GREGG is an incumbent Director and has been a credit union volunteer since 1974 when he began serving on the Nominating
Committee. He joined the Supervisory Committee in 1993 and was the chair of the committee for two years before he joined the Board of Directors. He has been the Vice
Chairman of the Board since 2000. Additionally, he is a member of the Board Loan, Board Facilities, and the Board Technology Committees. Ron began working in a credit union
while in college and subsequently, worked in management for IBM Corporation from 1962 until he retired in 1997. His longtime volunteering has provided him with a broad
exposure and an understanding of the financial operations of the credit union as well as NCUA regulations.
||ALAN HANSFORD is a veteran of the Austin technology sector and an optimistic visionary with a taste for the details that ensure
execution success. Having been part of several startups over the years as a problem-solving marketing executive, Mr. Hansford developed a deep understanding of traditional
and innovative marketing strategies. With his broad appreciation for the power and challenge of marketing tech-forward products or services, Mr. Hansford is a great fan of
Amplify and its leadership role. Mr. Hansford was born in Virginia and lived in several cities before settling in Austin with his family some 20 years ago.
