The Nominating Committee has recommended the nominees listed below, who are running unopposed, to fill the two open positions on the Amplify Board of Directors.
The election will not be conducted by ballot, and there will be no nominations from the floor when the number of nominees equals the number of positions to be filled. No questions from the floor will be taken during the meeting.
Kendel Martin joined Luminex Corporation in December 2007 and currently serves as Vice President, Accounting. In this capacity, Kendel has responsibility for worldwide Finance and Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis and Tax.
Prior to joining Luminex Corporation, Kendel held management roles as External Reporting Manager at Freescale Semiconductor, Internal Audit Manager at Cirrus Logic and Audit Senior Manager at Ernst & Young LLP.
Kendel holds a B.A. in Economics from Rhodes College and is a Texas Certified Public Accountant. In addition to serving on the Communities in Schools of Central Texas board and as their Chair of the Finance Committee, Kendel serves on the Finance Committee of Impact Austin.
Sam E. Robertson has an extensive background in Engineering and Management having been employed by IBM in those capacities for over 30 years. He holds degrees from Oklahoma State University and The University of Texas at Austin.
After retirement in 2009, Sam and his wife founded an engineering consulting company, Robertson Consulting and Support.
Sam has founded and served as Chairperson and other positions of multiple non-profit organizations and currently serves as Secretary of the Amplify Credit Union Board of Directors.
In 2018, Sam received his license as a Texas Realtor® and is currently affiliated with SKY Realty, Inc.
