Q: Can anyone else retrieve my private information from this profile?
A: As soon as your information is entered, it is encrypted and only certain AMPLIFY employees can gain access. These are the same people who would have access to your information if you came into the lobby and opened an account in person.

Q: What if I'm having trouble creating my profile?
A: Call 800.237.5087 to speak with one of our service representatives who can walk you through the process.

Q: How long do I have to complete my switch kit?
A: Take as much time as you need! Your profile will remain on file indefinitely.

Q: I started my profile before and have entered my user name and password, but it won't let me continue. What do I do now?
A: Double-check to make sure you have entered your email address (user name) and password correctly. Keep in mind that our system is also case sensitive. If you are still having trouble, please call 800.237.5087 to speak with one of our service representatives.

Q: I have forgotten my password. What do I do now?
A: Please click the "Did you forget your Password?" link under the login area. This will take you to an area to reset your password. You will need to know the answer to the security question you chose when you created your profile. If you are still having trouble, please call (800) 237-5087 to speak with one of our service representatives.

Q: I made a mistake when I created a letter. How do I fix it?
A: Go to the CREATE / PRINT LETTERS section, find the letter you need to fix and click the 'Edit' link in the Actions column. Make the changes and click the 'Save' button. That's it!

Q: I have more than one bank account to close. How do I do that?
A: Go ahead and create the letter you need for the bank account you entered when you created your profile. Once you have created that letter, there are two ways you can create additional or different letters:

  1. Edit the old bank information in your profile then create additional letter(s). This is the preferred method since it keeps the old letters in the database. Click the Review / Edit Profile link, edit the Old Bank Account Information section and save the changes. Now just create a new Close Account letter and it will have the new information from your profile. OR:

  2. Edit the existing letter and change the bank information. Do this from the CREATE / PRINT LETTERS screen and click the 'Edit' link in the Actions column for the Close Account letter. NOTE: Be sure you have printed or saved a copy of the old letter before modifying it, because once you save the changes it over-writes the old letter!

Follow one of the above procedures for each bank / account for which you need to generate letters.
