Recognizing the importance of this new industry trend, both VISA® and MasterCard® have been working to develop new products to protect cardholders and merchants throughout the Internet purchase process. The new products are referred to as Verified by VISA® and SecureCode.
These new products are designed to verify an authorized cardholder’s
identify during an Internet transaction through the use of a secure pass code.
AMPLIFY is providing an extra level of protection for online shopping through
the support of these new services.
Verfied By VISA® is a unique service that uses personal passwords to help protect VISA® card numbers against unauthorized use. Once you enroll your card, no one else can use your VISA® card number at any participating online store without knowing your personal password. Be sure to register all of your AMPLIFY debit cards!
