Pulse Fraud Manaement Warns of Telephone Fraud Scam

PULSE fraud management recently informed AMPLIFY of a telephone fraud scam affecting one if its issuer network participants in Texas.

Automated calls were randomly being placed to phone numbers in Texas. The automated message stated that "your debit card from (actual bank's name) was suspended due to suspicious fraud activity." Contacts were asked to call a phone number where they were then prompted for card number, PIN and expiration date. The Secret Service has been contacted and is conducting an investigation.

It is vital that you not divulge account information to people you do not know. AMPLIFY reminds you to protect both your personal and account information.
